Uttarakhand Tourism currently lists a route from Raithal to Gui, Chilapada and Dayara Bugyal, with a total trek distance of approximately 21 km on that itinerary.

Another established approach is from Barsu, from where the trail leads through forested terrain towards the meadows. Uttarakhand Tourism describes the Barsu route as a multi-day trekking experience with opportunities to experience villages, forests, alpine meadows and Himalayan views.

The exact route and trekking distance depend on the starting village and itinerary, so travellers should confirm their route before departure.

Himalayan Views from Dayara Bugyal

One of the greatest attractions of Dayara Bugyal is its panoramic mountain scenery.

Uttarakhand Tourism currently lists January–June and September–November for its Raithal–Dayara itinerary, while winter-specific itineraries are also offered. Weather and trail accessibility can change, so travellers should check current local conditions before beginning the trek.

Dayara Bugyal is accessible from the Uttarkashi region by road towards the Bhatwari/Raithal or Barsu area, followed by the trekking section.

The Uttarkashi district administration currently states that Dayara is approximately 30 km by road from Uttarkashi towards Bhatwari/Raithal, followed by the trek from Raithal.
